I have a very multidisciplinary writing and research background. What that means for you is that I can edit and write effectively on a variety of topics and adopt different writing styles, voices and perspectives. I also offer very strong research skills.
As well, I am an experienced project manager having worked with many individuals and teams to achieve project goals and objectives while honouring scope, time and budgets. I have the ability to manage multiple projects, establish priorities and balance the desire for perfection with the need to achieve deadlines.

“Appreciating the Values, Needs and Potential of the Stewardship and Conservation Sector in Canada: Strategic Directions for Funding and Other Support” - Research project and report on how best to support stewardship and conservation nonprofit organizations in Canada.
“Accessibility is More than a Ramp: Accessibility and Metro Vancouver Regional Parks” - Wrote report and delivered workshop on accessibility for Metro Vancouver Parks.
Developed a Bear Aversion Training Manual for the RCMP.

Environmental Education Reader – Developed an environmental education resource for the Saskatchewan Wildlife Branch.
Wrote numerous interpretive signs for provincial and regional parks.
Developed feasibility studies of environmental education centres for Golden Ears Provincial Park and the Chatman Creek Outdoor Education Group.

Cooperative and collaborative recreation management strategies and environmental sustainability options for the "North Shore Recreational Trail Framework".
“Black Bear Management in GVRD Parks: Preliminary Review” - Bear plan for Metro Vancouver Parks.
Wrote a background report on bear aversion in human-use areas for the provincial government and Get Bear Smart Society.
Researched and wrote sections of the North Shore Bear Hazard Assessment Report.
'North Vancouver Watershed Assessments' - Conducted assessments of 12 urban creeks in North Vancouver and wrote a profile for each.
Conducted an environmental impact assessment for the proposed development of a horse campground in Skagit Valley Provincial Park and delivered information for report.
Involved in writing the Burns Bog Management Plan.
Research project into ecotourism and wildlife viewing opportunities in Saskatchewan.
Conducted research for the interpretive plan for MacMillan Provincial Park.
Conducted numerous field studies including stream surveys, fry trapping, vegetation surveys, and small mammal population studies.
Coordinated biannual bird surveys of Burrard Inlet and Indian Arm involving over eighty volunteers.
